Reflections by Nigel Hemming

This New release (2017/8) is another welcome addition to Nigel's series of labradors looking through a window, the most famous by the artist being the black labrador (standalone) trilogy of limited editions: 'In Retirement' (1990), 'As Time Goes By' (1994) & 'Friends Reunited' (2007).

These feature paintings of older and younger dogs in the doorway and all feature an older black labrador waiting for his master to return home!

'Reflections' has the unique vista of Nigel painting the actual white window frame onto the canvas itself, with the reflection of the glass showing the master and the other dog, cleverly painted on!

A new re-imaging of the genre which all started with the best selling limited edition 'In Retirement,' once again with the older lab patiently waiting for his master (in full wax jacket, wellies and flat cap!) returning with an excited younger labrador.

In fact, it is now 10 years since the uplifting limited edition 'Friends Reunited' was released, likely on our Classic Designs marquee with Nigel on the stand! at The Game Fair or Crufts Dog Show 2007.
