Having two small limited editions with hearts and lot of red in them seems to appeal to a lot of Doug Hyde fans, as they can fit snuggly on any wall and are very ‘soft’ imagery.

The characters here are very reminiscent of Doug's previous releases and 'Surprise,' (2009) a sculpture and print featuring a human character carrying a giant bow, immediately springs to mind.

Infact I am sure it directly inspired 'Wrapped In Love' only this time the bow was too big for the character to hold! lol
