An important species whose protection often makes the press, here we have Gary's tribute to the baby turtle's birth and their first dash to the safety of the sea.

The original sketch took Gary over 48 months to complete and was a real labour of love and research for the artist. These are in fact loggerhead turtle hatchlings in the drawing!

Gary was spurred to sketch this original after seeing hatchlings on Lady Elliot island, Australia, a famous area of the Great Barrier Reef and used a combination of extensive photos & his imagination to blend this beautiful limited edition print.
