Reminiscent of the top selling limited edition: ‘Massey Ferguson 35X, Chris Feeding Suffolk Sheep’
Another image featuring a Massey Ferguson tractor and sheep feeding, this time it is a 168 tractor. We are in winter, with a farmer and his young helper attending the flock.
As usual painted from photographs the artist took for reference. The tractor used in scene was actually a 1975 Massey Ferguson 168 and is seen pulling a similar age trailer made by Wheatley.
Steven has painted the scene beautifully with a lovely blue clouded sky, showing his immense talent as a landscape artist painting the British countryside.
A dog walker goes past the scene and despite the snow, it is a life as normal for these people.
