Around The World - Framed

Here we have a fun, colourful, abstract take on the world created by the much loved Kerry Darlington.

This world is made up of soft curves and rounded shapes giving an overall tone of naivety; almost as if this world is seen through a child's eyes. There is a definite patchwork effect in this piece, as this world is made up of sections blocked into various bold colours and patterns.

Kerry's vista, although abstract, does contain some recognisable features such as the hot air balloon amid the sky, and the river by which a man on a boat is drifting through; possibly on his trek 'Around the World'.
