Evening Delivery by Nigel Hemming

In 2015 Nigel launched a new series of limited editions which included a freshly titled 'Evening Delivery (2015);' this time with the black labrador having carried in and dropped 'slippers' for the master's 'delivery.'

The rare original painting which was used to print limited edition of the same name: 'Evening Delivery.' Nigel produced both in the 1990s while he was with Washington Green art publishers.

A classic oil painting of a beautiful black labrador collecting the newspaper for his master and he seems rather pleased with himself.

The image itself is the same size as the limited edition print (which we also have the last copies for sale 'Evening Delivery - limited edition') and so the finished frame item will be larger than the size indicated. You have to see this in person to appreciate the depth of colour and warmth this original gives...a rare change to own a historic Nigel painting.

I must admit, it is rather lovely!
